Chiaroscuro female nude drawing

It has been quite a while since I've drawn a female nude and I'm very interested to working on the skill of drawing them so now is a better time than any to start again. I've gotten so used to paying attention to every undulating form of the human body so it'll take some practice to notice some of those subtleties beneath the surface of soft features.

    1. Thanks Kevin, I've really been neglecting my blog!

  2. She is beautiful. I love the shadows. I would thing that prints should be 24x48" though.

    1. Why do you think they should be 24x48"?

    2. Thank you by the way for saying you think it is beautiful. I'm sorry, I just saw that your name was Kevin and thought you were the same person who left the previous comment :)

  3. I've followed your blog loosely since about mid-2013 and I am always astounded at the breadth of techniques at your disposal, each of which you seem to master to an extent which makes your oeuvre always appear to be of the same high level of accomplishment rather than having "highs and lows".
